  • Tell - an unconscious signal that a blackjack dealer communicates to players about the value of his/her hole card. In poker an inadvertent signal that lets other players know what the strength of your hand is.
  • Underground Joint - an illegal casino
  • Wheel Chips - special chips used only at a roulette table
  • Three Flush - three cards to a flush
  • Up Card - the first card of a blackjack dealer's hand
  • Wheel Head - part of the roulette wheel that rotates
  • Three of a Kind - a hand that has three cards of the same value
  • Vic - casino slang for sucker or victim
  • Whip Shot - a controlled roll of the dice where the dice land flat and do not spin leaving the desired faces up
  • Third Base - the position farthest to the right of the dealer, the last player to act on his hand before the dealer
  • Video Keno - an electronic slot machine that mimics a live keno game, a keno card appears on the screen and the player picks ten numbers. The machines random number generator then picks 20 numbers.
  • Wild Card - a card that can be used for any other in a card game
  • Tight Machine - a slot machine that returns a low percentage of the money played on that machine
  • Video Blackjack - an electronic slot machine that plays a game similar to live poker, but with significant differences
  • Wired - a hand consisting of a pair with one card face up and one card in the hole
  • Take - a tip or gratuity
  • Video Poker - an electronic slot machine that plays a game similiar to live poker but with significant differences
  • Working - any bet that is in action but remains undecided
  • Take Hustler - a dealer, waiter or waitress who aggressively encourages players to tip
  • Video Slots - an electronic slot machine that is identical to 'reel' slot machines, except that the screen reproduces the reels
  • Worst of It - being at a disadvantage
  • Tom - casino slang for a poor tipper
  • Vig or Vigorish - the five per cent commission that the casino charges for various casino bets the same as juice
  • Wrong Bet - any bet at craps that favours the house over the shooter, the same as don't bet
  • Triple Odds - free odds of three times the amount of the player's pass line or come bets
  • Wager - another term for bet
  • Yard - a $100 note
  • Triple Play Video Poker - a video poker gmae that allows a player to bet on three hands on one screen, comes in versions of upto 100 hands on one screen
  • Wash - a situation where one bet cancels out another also when dealers spred the cards out on the table prior to shuffling and mixing them face down,sometimes called a pizza
  • True Odds - the actual likelihood of any event happening
  • Welch - failing to pay a debt
  • Two Pair- a hand consisting of two separate pairs
