Jenson Button
Born in Frome England on 19 January 1980 at 11 years of age he won the British Kart title, cadet class, he had more titles to his name in Europe he even won the Ayrton Senna Memorial Cup. He stepped up to cars in 1988 and continued his winning ways by taking the British Title and the Formula Ford Festival, he then made the move up to F3 and started his first race in Pole position he ended his first year in F3 in 3rd position .
Jenson had that special feel about him he decided to stay for a second year in F3, he was offered a test run for Prost and impressed that much that he was invited into a race out with Bruno Junqueira for the second spot on the Williams team for 2000 he won this without problem and spent the season developing his skills.
A spell with Benetton and Renault followed but Jenson made little impact but after a move to Bar Honda he finally began to show his class only being bettered by Michael Schumacher, he finally won a GP in Hungary in 2006 then the team lost it’s competitive edge.
Jenson has said that 2008 will be his year and after a dismal year in 2007 for Honda and it’s drivers things can only get better.
