One of the oldest circuit's in Grand Prix racing the first Monaco GP was held in 1929 that race was won by a Bugatti.

Monaco is like no other racing circuit, firstly it’s the class associated with Monaco and since the dropping of Adelaide it’s the only street circuit. Also unlike a lot of purpose built tracks these are real streets, it’s steep and narrow, there are lots of hard corners but St Devote provides the greatest test to the drivers. This corner is approached from the right arcing straight and when the driver realises he’s lined up wrong he’s praying that St Devote can help him because he’s now in all kinds of trouble.

Massenet which is at the crest of the hill after a steep climb to Casino Square is another tricky turn but to be honest once a driver has been round a few times he starts to find the low speed circuit easy if not down right boring.

What makes this grand old lady difficult so many tight corners getting a straight line is almost impossible. Click Here to visit Coral Sports book Now!
