Motherwell FC. Created from the amalgamation of two local amateur teams in the industrial area in Lanarkshire.

The club has played at Fir Park since 1895 and have won several domestic honours since then, including a famous Scottish Cup win over Dundee United in 1991.

Having played in all 7 seasons of the SPL. Motherwell FC have in recent years, under the former England skipper, Terry Butcher assembled a unique side consisting of a mixture of raw young talent and experienced pros.

James McFadden and Stephen Pearson are two example of graduates of Motherwell's highly regarded youth development programme.
